Maria Susanna Garroni
One of the few "real" Romans still around, her father being a 7 generation a Roman, she lived in Italy, Africa, the Middle East, and the United States, where she got her M.A. She speaks Italian, English and French. She works mainly as an official guide, but off season she teaches at various universities. Ph.D in History, she wrote some books, but they did not win the Pulitzer Prize. She loves meeting people of different cultures, is still fond of exploring surprising unexpected sights of Rome, enjoys reading, biking and other leisure activities, has a dangerous sweet tooth.
